FAQ
What is a wax melt?
A wax melt is a scented piece of wax used without a wick as an alternative to scented candles. They come in all shapes and sizes, as well as a variety of fragrances. The wax is warmed in a wax burner which then releases the scent into the room.

How to use a Wax Melt
Remove all packaging and break off pieces (how many depends on your burner size). Do not overfill. Only use a standard-sized 4hr tea light. Never use the larger 8hr tea lights or multiple tea lights as these can cause the burners to break.
Unlike candles, wax melts do not evaporate. You can continue to use the wax multiple times; until all the scent is gone. The intensity of fragrance will depend on your room size, the temperature of the room, and the amount of wax used. When the tea light has been extinguished or the burner turned off, the wax will re-harden ready for next use.
Tea light burners or electric burners
You can use wax melts with either tea light burners or electric burners, you may find that with tealight burners they can give off a stronger scent compared to electric burners. This is due to the heat from the tea light. On the other hand, electric burners reduce the risk of fire and can be safer to use. You may also find you can get more use from individual melts due to the lower temp the bulb/heat plate gives off.
